THEME : Professor
TITLE : The Love of Professor

When I was in university, I have attached to participated in the AWEM laboratory. The AWEM experiments on wireless communication, firmware, hardware control and so on. I joined the AWEM when I was a sophomore. I used to study about not only hardware and sensor controls but also software such as C/C++ languages. The AWEM havehas been havingbeing in the charge of major professors of 2. One of the professors of the AWEM is very kind and warm person whose name is RyuHwang. He teaches Electronic Circuit and Electromagnetism. Moreover, His teaching skill is really good.

As a rule, members of the AWEM used to prepare something as a present to our professors in every Teacher’s Day. One day ofon Teacher’s Days, he suggested invite AWEM members to his villa residence which is located in the countryside. As a result, graduates and undergraduates accepted his proposal and visited to his villa next the following year. Thenceforth, we have been visiting his villa every year.

Whenever we visit to villa, he always prepared smoked pork ribs and some vegetables for us. We were enjoying enjoy on our party in his villa. In addition, we stayed in there for 2days and 1 night. We have talked a lot to one another about their our job or family or relationship or safety and so on. Such as For example, some graduates want to move on to his job field. Another graduate wants to cash in on food business. Consequently, we mostly shared ideas and plans and problems.

Like this, he always takes care of his students. Also, he provides delicious food and calm place to AWEM members. Thus, I respect to his attention and consideration about to students.

THEME : Korea
TITLE : The Land of the Morning Calm

 

  I don’t know why Korea is called the Land of the morning calm. In my point of view, people can see the sunrise among mountains. We have many mountains and valleys. Thus, we can see great view during sunrise. Furthermore, we have a lot of beautiful sceneries and delicious food. For instance, not only the good places are Jeonju, SuncheonBay, Yeosu, Jeju island, Dokdo island, oedo island, Somaemuldo and so on, but also the good foods are Bulgogi, Tteokbokki, Bibimbap, Kimchi soup and so on.

 In my humble opinion, my best place of Korea is Somaemuldo which is an island. The island has a marvelous thing which is the sea in the island can divide and make a road among the seahas a sand bar which is connected to a light house. If we avoid the time when the tide begins to rise, we can see a natural phenomenon. In addition, if we walk through the roadsand bar and then we take steps upon stairs, we can see athe white light house. The light is also good.

Additionally, my best food of Korea is Kimchi soup. As, Kimchi is cooked and mixed with other ingredients easily. Therefore, I usually cook and eat Kimchi soup for and with my family. Kimchi soup can be makde including pork or canned tuna or any kinds of ingredients. Besides, tastes are different according to ingredients. I think most Korean people like Kimchi food. Because Kimchi is very useful to make various food

Consequently, if you want to visit Korea, you can enjoy everything in Korea.

THEME : My Long Weekend
TITLE : Under the Sea

 

I originally decided on getting scuba diving certificationlicense. As an outcome, I went scuba diving on weekend.

The first time, I learned about athe history of scuba diving and how to breathe and communicate under the sea in theory. After training, I practiced how to breathe and deal with diving equipment in the pool. And then, I wore swimming suit and scuba diving equipment.

Eventually, I got into the sea and I could see under the sea. Not only I went down until 18m, but also I saw Nemoclown fish and coral leafsreefs. Furthermore, master diver showed donut shapes by madeI saw a mater diver blew out donet shapes form his breath in the water and I took pictures under the sea. I tookhad trouble at first, but as time goes by, I could adjust to situations. That is very valuable to me.

When I have been to Phuket, I went snorkeling. The sea ishas emerald colors and it has beautiful scenery and a lot of fish and coral leafsreefs. It was veryso fabulous and I will never forget that time. In snorkeling, I can see under the shallow sea. In contracst, scuba diving, I can see under the deep sea.

As a consequence, although I’m attracted byto scuba diving and snorkeling, I prefer to scuba dive rather than snorkel. As, whenever I go down under the sea deeply, I feel more attractiveattracted. It seems like getting accomplishment. If I have a chance, I will try to scuba dive again.

THEME : Halloween
TITLE : Korean Halloween

For certain, weKorea also havehas a ghost festival like Halloween. We hold a ghost festival inon 16^th of January according to the lunar calendar every year. The day comes from customs of Jeollanam-do. On that day, a lot of goblins, ghosts and wicked fellows hold a party on the street. As an outcome, all people never used to go outside aton that day. As, if someone works or goes outside, the ghosts follow that someone likewise possessed by an evil spirit. Thus, we used to stick a charm and burn hairs and bamboos forto drivinge away. If we burn bamboos, it makes a big noisy sound. So we can turn outget rid of ghosts. And people believe ghosts weaken females energy. One of the ways which turn outget rid of ghosts uses female underwear.  

Like this, we have a ghost festival. However, most of festivals disappeared because of Japanese colonial era. In the past, Japanese people annihilated our cultures and customs. That is very deplorable things. Moreover, even though some Korean people don’t know about Halloween completely, but they think and enjoy Halloween such as our culture. To absorb other country’s culture is a good thing, but immoderation is too dangerous. It is also one of deplorable things.

 Though our customs and cultures disappear and we didn’t know our customs or culture, I think we ought to remind or redevelop or find our cultures and customs. Therefore, on government side we must be able to participate in our cultures and customs.

THEME : Favorite movie
TITLE : My Favorite Movie

 

I think genre of movies which Korean females like are melo movies and romantic comedy movies and movie genre which Korean males like are action movies, and thriller movies, and sci-fi movies. When I was young, I also used to like melo movies,and romantic comedy movies. However, I like animation movies, drama movies based on a real story and action movies.

Among the rest, my favorite genre is drama movies based on a real story. Recently, I saw GwanSang with my father. GwanSang had opened since 11.September.2013 until now. The movie was based on a part of the history of Korea and added fictional things about a kind of fortune teller. The movie was difficult to me because when I was young, I wasn’t good at athe history of Korea. As a result, if the movie had historical factors, I couldn’t comprehensivecomprehend that totally.

The movie is Josun‘s history. MoonJong was a king of Korea. Suddenly, MoonJong died because of his disease. Thus, his son who hiswhose name is DanJong had to be a king of Korea. However MoonJong’s brother who is a very greedy wanted to be a king. His name is Suyang. But he had no choicechance to be a king. One day, a fortuneteller appeared in athe palace. SawingSeeing faces of other people, the genius fortune teller can read their future. When he had seen Suyang, he already knew by intuition. As a consequence, he made a treasonable conspiracy. Finally, he would be a king.

THEME : Music
TITLE : My Favorite Music

When I was in middle school, I used to listen to music only one group’s music. At that time, my friends liked a guy’smale group which wascomprised of 5 members in their group, in comparison, I liked a girl’sfemale group which washad 3 members in their group. They are H.O.T and S.E.S who are the top of groups in Korea. They used to have lots of fans. However, they suddenly were dissolved to form a better organization. After then, they have been becomingbecome a musical actor and a talent and a mother separately.

S.E.S was a famous special girl’sfemale group which was the originator of girl’sthe recent female groups. Most people called them about sprites. Although these days we have a lot of popular girl’sfemale groups, we used to have a few girl’s groups in the past. I didn’t know why I liked them. But I canam certain things that they have had beautiful voices and whenever I listened to their music, I felt better. One of my favorite songs is “Dal ri gi” that means run. The meaning of musicthe song is though you suffer from your company or school, it will be getting alrightall right. The musicsong always cheers me up.

  After graduating from middle school, I rarely have listened to music. Because when I would like to think about my future and some problem, listening to music is not good for me It can occur any because it is some kind of a noisynoise for me. As a result, I don’t listen to music commonly except when I feel depressed and gloomy. If I’llam be stressed out, I wouldwill need to relax and listen to music.

THEME : Hobby
TITLE : My Teacher’s Unique Hobby

When I was in middle school, I did cross-stitch forto controlling my mind.  Not only if we do cross-stitch, we can get calm mind and concentration when we work or listen to something., Bbut also if we make cross-stitch stuff for present such as key ring, cushion, clock, we can give delight to someone. After I grew up, I have had other hobbyies. It is cooking and baking. When I bake cookies, brownies, I feel satisfaction and happyiness. And I enjoy that I make cookies and then I give it to my friends or co-workers.

Like me, most people have a common hobby like reading books, cooking, playing instruments, dancing, singing, exercising and so on. Most people have a common hobby.

InOn the other hand, one of my teachers has a unique hobby. His hobby is riding buses and finding myeon, dong offices, small train stations in countryside in Korea. He just takes buses from first bus stop to last bus stop. And tThen, he takes pictures for rememberrance. Whenever he has time, he repeats getting on and off the buses. And he checks a bus numbers. He has beengone to myeon about 230 times and to dong offices about 120 and to small train stations for 150. Besides checked buses are about 89 only in only Daejeon. When I heard that, I was surprised and I thinkthought “why does he hashave that hobby?”. But he is very satisfied. And he keeps his hobby until now.

THEME : Friends
TITLE : My Best Friends Iin University

When I meet someone, I think if someone matches on me or not. If someone and I match personalities, interests, similar to childhood and so on, we will be a best friends., Oor not we will just be a just friends. That is my style when I make friends.

When I was in university, I had many classmates. But I couldn’t make friends easily because I’m always shy when I meet someone. One day, my classmates and I had to set our subject schedules. So one of my classmates came to me and we set our subject schedules together. And then, we becoame friends. We always spendt time together.

One day, I got athe same situation. Finally, I have two best friends in university. There are JiSun and SuKyeong. We have common interests like men, celebrities, subjects, future and so on. We drank a lot in freshman, and we took a trip with our classmates. We have shared many things.

Nowadays, we are busy because of our jobs. JiSun is a developer about cell phone, and SuKyeong is a nursery teacher who is teaching an infants. Although we are very busy because of our jobs, we keep in touch with each other. JiSun will marry with her boyfriend next month and SuKyeong will also marry with her boyfriend next year. It’s good things for my friends.

I hope my friends and I still keep in touch and everything’s going to be alright. J

Day1.

THEME : Family
TITLE : Family Change In Korea

 

Long time ago, most families of in Korea were big. Korean gave birth to a lot of babies. So they have had 6-8 members in common. And siblings always helped everything each other with everything. And they also enjoyed their time also.

Additionally, family had to work at their farming because they had no choice to choosing choose their job. Just they did farm work and took care of their babies or children or elder persons people.

However, family is changing. These days, a type of family is getting smaller. So, we usually have 3-4 members in our family. And according to in order to improve the economy in Korea, we have had a lot of jobs and many kinds of jobs. We are getting busy. So we can’t spend time with each other. Then we might be selfish and individual. That’s why many couples divorce.

On the other hands, some people don’t marriage marry. And then, they breed any some pets. Treating their pets, they might feel satisfaction.

In this way, we went through family change. And it will change I think before changing former family is better than after changing latter family.

- 박력분 95g

- 다크초콜릿 150g

- 버터 65g

- 설탕 95g

- 계란 2개

- 코코아 파우더 22g

- 호두 조금

@ 만드는 법

1. 버터와 초콜릿을 중탕으로 녹인다.

2. 계란 + 설탕을 섞는다.

3. 1과 2를 섞는다.

4. 체에 내린 박력분 + 코코아 파우더를 3과 섞는다.

5. 미니 원형팬에 유산지을 알맞게 깔고 재료를 부른 후 호두로 데코를 한다.

6. 예열한 170도 오븐에 약 40-45분 가량 굽고, 식힌 후 빼서 예쁘게 포장한다.
