Day11.

THEME : Embarrassing Situation
TITLE : Slip of the Tongue in Cebu

 

These are episodes of my batchmates and I. If you know Korea, you can comprehend that meaning of sentences.

Episode 1. This episode happened in Ayala mall. One of my batchmates went to a money exchange house stoll. She was passing money to the money exchanger, she stately said, “백peso, please”.  After then, the other of batchmates told to her “Can she understand?”. At that time, her face was distorted. (“백” means one hundred. )

Episode 2. This episode happened in a taxi. I and three of my batchmates went to SM mall last weekend. After shopping, we took a taxi. We were talking to each other about mangosteens. Though one of my batchmates really wanted to buy mangosteens, she couldn’t buy that those because of sellout. Suddenly, she found a store which sells mangosteens. And then, she was reading a sign of the fruit store and spoke loudly “미..미뉴잇메이드! Let’s go there later”. However, that was an advertisement sign which is Minute Maid. We laughed loudly for a long time.

Episode 3. This episode happened in SME. After having lunch, I was dying to eat icecream because the weather was too hot. So I proposed eating icecream to one of my batchmates together. As a result, we were going to snack store and I said “2개,please” confidently. Next to the one of My batchmates next to me laugh loudly. I realized what I said belatedly. Afterward, I was very embarrassed. (“개” means counting a number)
